Strut Mount awarded exclusive matching qualification for Hyundai's N series high-performance models

In April 2025, Taiyu Automotive Parts officially passed the rigorous audit of Hyundai Motor's Global Supply Chain System (HMMC) and became the exclusive supplier of pillar brackets for its N series high-performance vehicle models. This cooperation covers electric vehicles such as Hyundai IONIQ 5 N, and Taiyu will provide adaptive damping strut brackets to help improve the handling stability of the vehicle by 20% in track mode.
Technological breakthrough:
Adopting a magnesium aluminum alloy honeycomb structure, the weight of a single bracket has been reduced from 2.1kg to 1.2kg, and dynamic fatigue testing has been conducted (1 million cycles without failure);
Integrated piezoelectric ceramic shock absorption module, which can monitor road vibration in real time and adjust damping coefficient, with a response speed three times faster than traditional hydraulic shock absorption;
Introducing digital twin technology to achieve full process virtual verification from design to mass production, shortening the development cycle by 40% and reducing mold development costs by 35%.
Capacity planning:
The Taiyu Jiangmen base has launched an expansion project with an annual output of 1.5 million pillar supports, expected to be put into operation in Q3 2025. 70% of the production capacity will serve Hyundai's global factories, and the remaining production capacity will cover Chinese new energy vehicle companies.
